JULY 30-31
2010; 762nd, North Truro AFS reunion being held
on Cape Cod. The following are the details for the reunion.
1. July 30th - There will be a Meet-and-Greet held at the
Shipwreck Lounge, formerly known as the Sandpiper, on Rte 6
in Eastham. It will start at 6pm, and appetizers will be
served; a donation to be taken to help cover the costs
2. July 31st - There will be a tour of the North Truro
AFS site between 12pm-2pm. Someone from the National
Seashore will be there to let us in, as well as have keys
to some of the old buildings.
3. July 31st - Whitman House - Dinner will be served at
the Whitman House begining at 6pm. There will be an
all-inclusive meal served with choice of entree, appetizers,
and dessert. The cost is $29.00 per person, and menus will
be sent to planned attendees before July 1st; we will need
your selection NLT July 10th. We will have our own private
dining room.
All military members and civilians who were ever stationed
there or worked there are invited. Dependents are welcome.

and Banquet. 2010 is the 60th Anniversary for Empire AFS Michigan (1950-2010)
this will be a special time of celebration at which time the Memorial

2011; OPHEIM AFS MT; My father, who passed away Nov.15 09, was Joseph Murrell.
He was stationed a Opheim AFS from 1970-1972 and again from 1975-1979; he was in
GATR radmaint. I graduated from high school in Opheim. Local resident, Janet

Empire Anchor Day Celebration many Empire AFS Veterans return each year
and participate in the town parade as well as the Lions Club Grilled Chicken
